Bought and paid for them. But I was brought up as Kvothe.I heard a lot of hype and great things about this book from just about everyone and their mom in order to tell everyone else and their mom who has not read the book to read it so they can fall in love and rate it five stars.

This opens too many questions that simply dont get answered as well as has no real main plot to the story.

I had to downgrade this from 2 stars to 1. Like I said: that's cool. The first book reminded me of the Harry Potter series, except where the magic actually makes sense as it has 'scientific-esque' theory behind it which the lack of magic and societal explanation and overdose of 'convenience' was my biggest bug bear of the Potter series. He becomes a legend because he talks the university into not only lowering his tuition, but paying him to attend.
